    Language
    Language apps help the students to recognize letters and sounds,tracing and formation of letters and making words etc. Story apps are always a favorite. Language apps like EDu cards, fun rhyming, Letterland etc are particularly helpful with ESOL children who come to the class with no English and this helps them learn as it caters to differetn learning styles. Some apps in language are- Kinder spell, ABC Tracer, word Magic etc.
    Reflection
    This year we have focused on differentiating instruction using iPads in an EC class. We have realized that it is important to integrate instruction authentically in using iPads instead of doing a force bit. Now that we are comfortable using iPads and have discovered what apps work we want to explore higher level thinking skills like creativity. An eg, would be to find an interesting wallpaper or photo, project it and ask the kids to come up with vocabulary to describe, explain and make it interesting using language.
